About Us
Making Change Possible
Following a trip to Cyprus I was heartbroken to see the amount of stray kittens and cats living on the streets, i learnt that there was no tnr administered to these cats hence just more and more kittens being born into a life on the street , hungry ,no shelter, rescue centres over run , these kittens and cats have very little chance of survival, most will either starve to death, get run over and killed, poisoned by people who don't want them in there neighbourhood or killed and eaten by dogs,In my time there I came across endless kittens and cats ,wanting to help them all , I searched ,asked what could be done to which I found out was very little ,more or less nothing. One evening I came across a little kitten alone , living by the main road , I asked local shops and was told the kitten had been there a few weeks by itself , the following days I returned to see the kitten and just couldn't get her out of my mind, with worry of her dangerous location and knowing without any trap neuter return programme that in a few weeks this poor kitty if she survived would her self end up pregnant,I called around lots of rescue centres to take her in , they were all full up, disheartened the day before I left I put a post out on Facebook for someone to take her in temporary and I would then get her flown back to uk , amazingly many people responded with names of possible people and within a few hours I found someone ,After returning home and awaiting the arrival of my beautiful kitty , I couldn't get those poor other kittens out of my mind and so hence the launch of catsrescue&rehoming ,the aim to raise money and get stray kittens/cats in both the uk and abroad sponsored and rehomed to a loving family where they will be safe and cared for.

Little Marley came to us very sick as a young kitten, he had cat flu and hair loss patches, it was a touch and go with Marley of he would survive luckily after much care the little fella pulled through and is now 3 years old, Marley has a weak immune system due to his ill health as a kitten so we have to be careful with whom he mixes withMarley is a little treasure such a friendly boy he loves being pampered and is happy to just sit on your lap as long as you will let himIf you would like to sponsor Marley ,please get in touch

Our Cookie is the peace maker of all the cats, Cookie will be befriend any new cat brought into our care and take them under her wing ,she really is a special little girl, making sure any new cat is welcomed, she will immediately team up with the newbies, once Cookie has the newbies in her care ,the other cats will follow her direction If you would like to sponsor our special girl, please get in touch

Presently we have our third kitten from abroad and first one coming from abroad from Turkey we are raising money for care for this kitten in the veterinary practice where he needs to stay initially in Turkey from there he will go into a temporary rescue centre following vaccinations he will be flown to the UK, the process taking approx 3 to 4 monthsSo here is little Turkeye who was found on the streets with no mother around at approx 6 weeks old, he was skinny malnourished and had a weeping eyePlease help Turkeye by donating so we can bring him to the ukhttps://gofund.me/e60f166a

Our little Simon whom we found in Turkey, Simon was approximately 3 weeks and was left to fend for himself with no mother around , we found Simon a rescue centre that could take him in temporarily until he was strong enough to fly over to our care, Simon is such a beautiful little soul ,so full of love ,he follows us around everywhere , No matter where you go we can be sure Simon is trotting along next to us If you would like to sponsor Simon please let us know ,regular updates and photos will be given and of course you are always welcome to come and spend some time with him
